Scott Meyer is an experienced executive with a diverse background in both for-profit and nonprofit leadership. His career began in the aerospace industry, where over 16 years Scott held positions in engineering, manufacturing management, business development, and as IT Director for an international aerospace materials manufacturer. In 1997 Scott co-founded OneNeck IT Services, a global provider of 24×7 IT managed services. As President and COO Scott led the company’s rapid growth and profitability that culminated in a successful re-capitalization of the business with private equity investors in 2005, and his subsequent exit from the firm. Scott’s nonprofit leadership includes serving as president of the board of directors of the Foundation for Blind Children, as well as their governance committee and capital campaign chair. Currently Scott serves on the board of the Valleywise Health Foundation and is a graduate of the Scottsdale Leadership’s Class 32, whose mission is to inform, inspire and empower leaders in the community. In 2012 Scott formed Straight A Properties LLC, a local real estate development company, and he is also a licensed realtor in Arizona. Scott and his wife Roselyn are devoted parents to their young son, and Scott’s two adult children. His family enjoys spending time at their Pinetop cabin whenever possible, and he is also an avid hiker, biker and motorcyclist. Scott earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign – and is forever a proud Fighting Illini.
